Algemene voorwaarden
Version: 20 September 2026
Effective from: 20 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Goodi Design online store and to quotations and custom orders accepted by Goodi Design. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Goodi Design
Goodi Design is operated by:
Legal name: Goodi Design
Trading name: Goodi Design
Registered address: Gersteland 13, 3773AC, Barneveld, The Netherlands
Correspondence and return address: AS ABOVE
Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 99294826
VAT identification number: NL005381000B69
Email: info@goodidesign.nl
Website: https://www.goodidesign.nl
In these Terms, “Goodi Design”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above. “Customer” and “you” refer to the person or business purchasing a Product from us.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
-
Consumer means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
-
Business Customer means any customer acting in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession.
-
Product means any physical product, custom-made item, prototype or other item supplied by Goodi Design.
-
Custom Product means a Product manufactured according to a Customer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised for that Customer, including Products with customer-specific dimensions, text, logos, geometry or functionality.
-
Agreement means the contract between Goodi Design and the Customer for the sale and supply of Products.
-
Website means the Goodi Design online store and associated web pages.
Where a provision applies only to Consumers or only to Business Customers, this is stated expressly. Mandatory consumer rights always take precedence over conflicting provisions in these Terms.
3. Applicability
3.1 These Terms apply to all offers, quotations, orders and Agreements with Goodi Design, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
3.2 Before an online order is placed, these Terms will be made available in a way that allows the Customer to save or print them. By placing an order, the Customer agrees that these Terms apply to the Agreement.
3.3 Any terms used by a Business Customer are rejected unless Goodi Design expressly accepts them in writing.
3.4 If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The invalid provision will be replaced, where legally possible, by a valid provision that most closely reflects its purpose.
3.5 Product-specific information, safety instructions, installation instructions and an accepted quotation form part of the Agreement. If they conflict with these Terms, individually agreed written terms take precedence, followed by the accepted quotation, the Product page and these Terms.
4. Product information and 3D-printed characteristics
4.1 Goodi Design manufactures functional products, accessories, holders, organisers, adapters, nozzles, spacers, display items and other products, primarily using additive manufacturing (3D printing).
4.2 We make reasonable efforts to describe and display Products accurately. Images may be illustrative. Colours can differ slightly because of screen settings, material batches, lighting and the nature of the manufacturing process.
4.3 Unless they materially affect the agreed function or safety of the Product, normal characteristics of 3D printing are not defects. These can include visible layer lines, a seam, minor surface texture, small support marks, minor colour variation and small dimensional deviations inherent to the stated manufacturing process.
4.4 Dimensions, load limits, materials, temperature restrictions and compatibility statements shown on a Product page or quotation are part of the Product specification. If no numerical tolerance is expressly stated, reasonable tolerances customary for the chosen 3D-printing process and intended use apply. This does not limit a Consumer’s right to receive a Product that conforms to the Agreement.
4.5 Products are supplied only for the purpose described on the Product page, in the instructions or in the accepted quotation. A Product must not be used as personal protective equipment, lifting equipment, climbing equipment, a child-safety device, a load-bearing structural component, a medical device or a safety-critical automotive component unless Goodi Design expressly identifies it in writing as designed and supplied for that purpose.
4.6 Goodi Design may improve a Product’s design, production method or material without notice, provided that this does not materially reduce the agreed functionality, safety or quality of an order already accepted.
5. Compatibility and third-party products
5.1 References to brands, machines, batteries, tools, rails, hoses, storage systems or model numbers indicate intended compatibility only. The Customer must select the correct Product variant and compare the stated compatibility with the exact model of the item with which it will be used.
5.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, Goodi Design Products are independently designed accessories and are not original products of, sponsored by, approved by or affiliated with the referenced manufacturers.
5.3 Third-party brand names and trademarks, including Festool®, Bosch®, Makita®, Milwaukee® and DeWalt®, belong to their respective owners and are used only as reasonably necessary to describe compatibility.
5.4 Goodi Design is not responsible for changes made by a third-party manufacturer to its products after the compatibility of a Goodi Design Product was established. This does not affect rights relating to an inaccurate compatibility statement made by Goodi Design at the time of purchase.
6. Offers, orders and formation of the Agreement
6.1 Website listings and quotations are invitations to place an order unless they expressly state otherwise.
6.2 After an online order is placed, the Customer receives an electronic acknowledgement. An Agreement is formed when Goodi Design confirms acceptance of the order, starts manufacturing a Custom Product at the Customer’s request, or dispatches the order, whichever occurs first.
6.3 We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance for legitimate reasons, including an obvious pricing or description error, suspected fraud, non-payment, unavailability of materials, technical infeasibility, safety concerns, export restrictions or an order outside the regions we serve. If payment has already been received, it will be refunded without undue delay.
6.4 The Customer must check all order details, options, quantities, compatibility information, delivery information and personalised content before submitting the order. The Customer must notify us promptly of any error.
6.5 After an order has been accepted, changes or cancellation are possible only where required by law or agreed by Goodi Design. This is particularly relevant where production of a Custom Product has already begun.
6.6 Goodi Design may impose reasonable quantity limits or refuse orders intended for unauthorised resale, unlawful use or use presenting an unacceptable safety risk.
7. Prices, taxes and payment
7.1 Prices displayed to Consumers in the European Union include applicable VAT unless the Website clearly and lawfully states otherwise. Delivery charges and any other mandatory costs are shown before the Customer places the order.
7.2 For deliveries outside the European Union, import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees and other charges imposed by the destination country are not included unless expressly stated at checkout. The recipient is responsible for such charges.
7.3 A price stated in an accepted order will not change unless the Customer requests a change or the price was an obvious error that the Customer knew or should reasonably have recognised.
7.4 Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout or stated in the quotation. Goodi Design may require payment in full or a deposit before beginning production.
7.5 Products remain the property of Goodi Design until all amounts due under the relevant Agreement have been paid in full. For Consumers, the risk of loss or damage nevertheless passes as described in Article 10.
7.6 A Business Customer that fails to pay on time is, after any legally required notice, liable for statutory commercial interest and reasonable extrajudicial collection costs. Consumer payment defaults are handled in accordance with mandatory Dutch law, including any required fourteen-day notice.
8. Custom Products and customer-supplied information
8.1 A request for a Custom Product is not accepted until Goodi Design confirms the specification, price and any applicable design or development costs.
8.2 The Customer is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of dimensions, models, drawings, files, text, logos, intended-use information and other specifications supplied by the Customer. Goodi Design remains responsible for correctly carrying out the specification it has expressly accepted.
8.3 Where Goodi Design submits a drawing, render, sample or prototype for approval, production may begin after the Customer approves it. Approval confirms the visible design and stated specification, but does not waive rights relating to hidden defects, manufacturing errors or mandatory Consumer rights.
8.4 Unless expressly agreed otherwise, design work, engineering, testing, prototypes, tooling, setup work and revisions may be charged separately. Costs already reasonably incurred for a Custom Product are payable where the Customer cancels and no mandatory right of withdrawal applies.
8.5 The Customer warrants that it has the right to use and provide any logo, design, drawing, model, text or other material supplied to Goodi Design and that our agreed use of it will not infringe third-party rights. This warranty does not apply to Consumers to the extent that applying it would be unfair or contrary to mandatory law.
8.6 Unless intellectual-property rights are expressly transferred in writing, Goodi Design retains all rights in designs, technical solutions, drawings, print files, production methods and improvements created by Goodi Design. Payment for development or a Custom Product does not by itself transfer source files, CAD files, manufacturing files or exclusive production rights.
8.7 Goodi Design will not publicly display a customer-specific logo, confidential design or confidential technical information without permission. We may use general know-how, non-confidential production experience and independently developed improvements for other work.
9. Production and delivery times
9.1 Production and delivery periods shown on the Website or in a quotation are estimates unless expressly agreed as a fixed deadline.
9.2 If no delivery time has been agreed with a Consumer, delivery will take place without undue delay and no later than thirty days after the Agreement is formed, unless the Consumer agrees to a different period.
9.3 If delivery is delayed, we will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible. A Consumer may exercise any statutory rights available when delivery does not take place within the agreed period or an appropriate additional period.
9.4 Partial delivery is permitted only if it does not cause unreasonable inconvenience or additional cost to a Consumer. Business Customers may receive partial deliveries unless otherwise agreed.
9.5 The Customer must provide a complete and correct delivery address and reasonably cooperate with delivery. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address or an unjustified refusal or failure to accept delivery may be charged to the Customer, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Shipping, transfer of risk and inspection
10.1 Goodi Design selects the carrier unless another arrangement is agreed.
10.2 For Consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes when the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the Product. If the Consumer independently appoints a carrier not offered by Goodi Design, risk passes when the Product is handed to that carrier, insofar as permitted by law.
10.3 For Business Customers, risk passes when the Products are handed to the carrier, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10.4 Customers should inspect the shipment after receipt. Visible transport damage, missing items or an incorrect Product should be reported promptly, preferably with photographs of the Product and packaging. A failure by a Consumer to report immediately does not remove mandatory statutory rights.
10.5 The Customer must retain damaged packaging where reasonably necessary for a carrier investigation and cooperate with reasonable requests relating to a shipping claim.
11. Consumer right of withdrawal
11.1 A Consumer normally has the right to withdraw from an online purchase of a standard Product without giving a reason within fourteen days after the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, receives the Product. For one order delivered in separate shipments, the period starts when the last Product or part is received.
11.2 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must send an unambiguous statement to Goodi Design before the withdrawal period expires. The Consumer may use the model withdrawal form in Appendix 1 but is not required to do so. Notices can be sent to info@goodidesign.nl or to the postal address in Article 1.
11.3 After notifying Goodi Design, the Consumer must return the Product without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after giving notice of withdrawal.
11.4 The Consumer bears the direct cost of returning a standard Product unless Goodi Design agreed to bear that cost or failed to disclose that the Consumer must bear it. Products must be returned to the return address stated in Article 1 or another address supplied by Goodi Design for the return.
11.5 The Consumer may inspect and handle a Product only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, comparable to what would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop. The Consumer may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.
11.6 Goodi Design will refund payments received for the returned Product, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method, within fourteen days after receiving the withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the Product or the Consumer supplies evidence of having returned it, whichever occurs first. Additional cost resulting from the Consumer choosing a more expensive delivery method is not refunded.
11.7 Refunds are made using the original payment method unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise and incurs no fee as a result.
12. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for Custom Products
12.1 The Consumer has no right of withdrawal for a Product manufactured according to the Consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised for the Consumer, where the legal requirements for that exception are met.
12.2 Examples can include Products manufactured with customer-specific dimensions, individually requested geometry, personal text, a customer logo or a design developed specifically for that Customer.
12.3 A Product is not treated as a Custom Product merely because it is manufactured after the order is placed. Selection from standard sizes, models, colours or options offered by Goodi Design does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal.
12.4 Where the withdrawal exception applies, this will be stated clearly on the Product page, in the quotation or during the order process before the Customer places the order.
13. Returns outside the statutory withdrawal right
13.1 A return outside the statutory withdrawal right requires prior agreement from Goodi Design, except where the Product is defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied.
13.2 A Product returned because of a defect or an error attributable to Goodi Design will be repaired, replaced or refunded in accordance with applicable law. Goodi Design will bear reasonable return costs where legally required.
13.3 The Customer should package returned Products appropriately. The Customer is responsible for avoidable damage occurring because of clearly inadequate return packaging, except to the extent prohibited by law.
14. Conformity, statutory guarantee and remedies
14.1 Products must conform to the Agreement and possess the qualities the Customer may reasonably expect based on the Product description, intended purpose, accepted specification and statements made by Goodi Design.
14.2 Consumers retain all mandatory statutory rights concerning non-conforming or defective Products. Nothing in these Terms replaces or restricts those rights.
14.3 If a Product is non-conforming, the Customer must notify Goodi Design within a reasonable time after discovering the issue and provide information reasonably needed to assess it. Under Dutch consumer law, a notification within two months after discovery is in any event considered timely.
14.4 Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Goodi Design may repair or replace the Product within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, unsuccessful or cannot reasonably be required, the Customer may be entitled to a price reduction or termination and refund.
14.5 Coverage does not extend to a problem caused solely by normal wear and tear, accidental damage after delivery, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, chemical exposure, excessive load, exposure outside stated environmental limits, use with an incompatible product or use contrary to clear instructions. This exclusion applies only where such circumstance caused or contributed to the problem and does not limit mandatory rights.
14.6 No commercial manufacturer’s warranty is provided unless expressly stated on the Product page or in writing. Any voluntary warranty is additional to, and does not limit, statutory rights.
15. Installation, safe use and maintenance
15.1 The Customer must follow supplied installation, load, maintenance and safety instructions and use suitable fixings for the relevant wall, vehicle, cabinet, Systainer, surface or application.
15.2 Unless installation by Goodi Design is expressly included, the Customer is responsible for proper installation. If the Customer is unsure about the substrate, fixings, load or installation method, the Customer should obtain appropriate professional advice before use.
15.3 Before each safety-relevant use, and periodically during ordinary use, the Customer should check the Product, fasteners and mounting surface for cracks, deformation, looseness, excessive wear or other damage. A damaged Product must not be used until it has been assessed or replaced.
15.4 Products installed in a vehicle or service van must be secured appropriately for vehicle movement, vibration, braking and foreseeable loads. A holder or organiser is not automatically a certified cargo-restraint system.
15.5 3D-printed polymers can be affected by heat, ultraviolet radiation, chemicals, impact and sustained loading. The Customer must observe Product-specific restrictions and must not expose the Product to conditions outside its described use.
15.6 These duties do not reduce Goodi Design’s responsibility for a defective Product, inadequate instructions or a Product that does not conform to the Agreement.
16. Complaints
16.1 Questions and complaints may be sent to info@goodidesign.nl. Please include the order number and a clear description of the issue, with photographs where useful.
16.2 Goodi Design will acknowledge a complaint without undue delay and aims to provide a substantive response within fourteen days. If more time is reasonably required, we will explain this and indicate when a response can be expected.
16.3 Customers must give Goodi Design a reasonable opportunity to examine and, where appropriate, repair or replace a Product before arranging third-party repair or disposal, unless this cannot reasonably be required in the circumstances.
16.4 This complaints procedure does not restrict access to a court or any mandatory consumer dispute-resolution right.
17. Liability to Consumers
17.1 Goodi Design is liable to Consumers in accordance with applicable mandatory law.
17.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, liability under mandatory product-liability law, or mandatory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
17.3 Goodi Design is not liable for damage caused by use outside the Product’s stated purpose, incorrect installation by the Customer or a third party, disregard of clear safety instructions, use with a knowingly incompatible item, unauthorised modification or continued use after damage became apparent, to the extent that such conduct caused or increased the damage.
17.4 A Consumer remains entitled to compensation where and to the extent provided by applicable law. This Article does not shift to the Consumer risks that legally remain with Goodi Design.
18. Liability to Business Customers
18.1 This Article 18 applies only to Business Customers.
18.2 Goodi Design’s total liability arising from or related to an Agreement is limited to the amount paid out under the applicable liability insurance policy, plus any deductible borne by Goodi Design. If no insurance payment is made for reasons unrelated to Goodi Design’s failure to maintain reasonable insurance, liability is limited to the net invoice value of the part of the order giving rise to the claim.
18.3 Goodi Design is not liable to a Business Customer for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, production, contracts, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, business interruption or claims from that Business Customer’s customers, except where and to the extent such exclusion is not legally permitted.
18.4 The limitations in this Article do not apply to intentional misconduct or deliberate recklessness by Goodi Design’s management, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory product liability, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18.5 A Business Customer must notify Goodi Design in writing of a claim promptly after becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to it and, in any event, within twelve months after delivery, except where this period would be unreasonable or legally impermissible.
18.6 Where the Business Customer incorporates, resells or supplies a Product to another party, it is responsible for passing on relevant Product information, installation instructions, warnings and use limitations, and for not making unsupported claims about the Product.
19. Intellectual property
19.1 All intellectual-property rights in the Website, photographs, text, logos, product designs, drawings, CAD models, print files, prototypes and other materials created by Goodi Design remain with Goodi Design or its licensors unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
19.2 Purchasing a Product grants the Customer the right to own and use that physical Product for its intended purpose. It does not grant a right to reproduce, scan, manufacture, modify for commercial reproduction, distribute or sell copies of the design.
19.3 Customers may not use Goodi Design photographs, product descriptions, designs or logos commercially without prior written permission.
19.4 Nothing in this Article restricts mandatory rights, legitimate resale of a lawfully purchased physical Product or uses permitted by applicable intellectual-property law.
20. Reviews and customer content
20.1 If a Customer submits a review, photograph or other content for publication, the Customer grants Goodi Design a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce that content for operating and promoting Goodi Design, unless otherwise agreed.
20.2 The Customer must have the necessary rights to submit the content and must not submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material.
20.3 Goodi Design may moderate or remove unlawful, irrelevant, fraudulent or abusive content. We do not promise to publish every submission and will not manipulate reviews in a misleading way.
21. Website availability and third-party services
21.1 Goodi Design may use Shopify, payment providers, carriers and other third parties to operate the Website and fulfil orders. The Agreement for the purchase of a Product is between the Customer and Goodi Design unless expressly stated otherwise.
21.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Website. We may maintain, secure, change or temporarily suspend it, but this does not affect Agreements already formed or mandatory Customer rights.
21.3 Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Goodi Design is not responsible for independent third-party content or transactions entered into directly with a third party.
22. Personal data
22.1 Goodi Design processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
22.2 The Privacy Policy is available at: Goodi Design Privacy Policy
22.3 Payment providers, Shopify, carriers and other service providers may process personal data where necessary to process an order, take payment, prevent fraud, deliver Products and operate the Website, as further explained in the Privacy Policy.
23. Force majeure
23.1 Goodi Design is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, fire, serious equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, power or network outages, epidemics, war, government measures, transport disruption, carrier disruption, strikes, or unexpected shortages of essential materials.
23.2 Goodi Design will take reasonable steps to limit the consequences and will inform the Customer if performance is materially affected.
23.3 If performance becomes permanently impossible, the affected part of the Agreement may be terminated and amounts paid for undelivered Products will be refunded. Consumers retain all mandatory rights, including rights relating to delayed delivery.
24. Changes to these Terms
24.1 Goodi Design may amend these Terms for future orders. The version made available when an order is placed applies to that Agreement.
24.2 A later amendment does not alter an existing Agreement unless the Customer expressly agrees or the amendment is required by law and does not unfairly prejudice the Customer.
25. Governing law and disputes
25.1 Agreements with Goodi Design are governed by Dutch law.
25.2 If the Customer is a Consumer residing in another country, the choice of Dutch law does not deprive that Consumer of mandatory protection provided by the law of the country in which the Consumer habitually resides.
25.3 The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute directly.
25.4 Disputes with Business Customers will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands in the district where Goodi Design has its registered office, unless mandatory law requires another court.
25.5 A Consumer may bring proceedings before any court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer and international private law. Nothing in these Terms requires a Consumer to waive a mandatory right to use the courts of their country of residence.
