30-day return policy

We offer a 30-day return period for standard, non-customised Products. This means that you may request a return within 30 days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the Product.

Our 30-day return policy is in addition to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law. For Consumers in the European Union, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal described below always applies.

Please do not send a return to us without including sufficient information to identify your order. We recommend contacting us before returning a Product so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions. Contacting us does not mean that a statutory return requires our prior approval.

Unless the Product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or we have agreed otherwise, the Customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the Product.

Conditions for our additional 30-day return service

For returns requested after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period but within our voluntary 30-day return period, the Product must:

be unused and undamaged;
be complete and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging;
include all supplied parts, accessories and instructions; and
be accompanied by the order number or other proof of purchase.

These additional conditions do not restrict a Consumer’s statutory rights during the legal withdrawal period or in relation to a defective or non-conforming Product.

European Union 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a Consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase of a standard Product without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the Product.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision before the 14-day period expires. You may contact us at info@goodidesign.nl or use the model withdrawal form included in our Terms and Conditions. You are not required to use that form.

After notifying us, you must return the Product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal.

During the statutory withdrawal period, you may inspect and handle the Product only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, comparable to what would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary.

The absence of or damage to the original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal. However, you are responsible for packaging the Product appropriately for the return shipment.

Custom and personalised Products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to Products manufactured according to the Consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalised for the Consumer, where the legal requirements for this exception are met.

This may include Products manufactured with:

customer-specific dimensions;
individually requested geometry or functionality;
personalised text;
a customer-supplied logo; or
a design developed specifically for that Customer.

A Product is not considered customised merely because it is manufactured after the order is placed. Choosing from standard sizes, models, colours or options offered by Goodi Design does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal.

Where a Product is excluded from the right of withdrawal, this will be clearly stated on the Product page, in the quotation or during the ordering process before the order is placed.

Custom or personalised Products can still be returned if they are defective, damaged, incorrectly manufactured or do not conform to the agreed specifications.

Sale items

Sale or discounted standard Products are covered by the same statutory withdrawal and conformity rights as regularly priced Products.

Unless expressly stated otherwise before purchase, eligible sale items are also covered by our voluntary 30-day return policy.

Damaged, defective or incorrect Products

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a Product is damaged, defective, incomplete or different from what you ordered.

a description of the issue; and
clear photographs where these may help us assess the problem.

We will assess the issue and, where applicable, arrange repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund in accordance with applicable law.

If the issue is attributable to Goodi Design, we will bear the reasonable cost of returning the Product. Please contact us before returning such a Product so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming Products.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges unless we expressly agree otherwise.

The fastest way to obtain another standard Product or variant is usually to return the original Product and place a separate order for the replacement. A separate purchase does not affect your rights concerning the original Product.

Return shipping

For ordinary returns and withdrawals, the Customer bears the direct return shipping costs unless Goodi Design has agreed to pay them or the Product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

If we provide a prepaid return label for an ordinary return, we will tell you in advance whether the cost of that label will be deducted from your refund.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method. The Customer is responsible for the return shipment until it is received by Goodi Design, except where mandatory law provides otherwise or Goodi Design arranged the carrier.

Refunds

We will notify you after receiving and inspecting the returned Product.

For a valid statutory withdrawal, we will refund all payments received for the returned Product, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method. Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after the date on which we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned Product or you have supplied evidence that you returned it, whichever occurs first.

For returns made under our voluntary 30-day return policy after the statutory withdrawal period, the original shipping costs are not refunded unless we expressly agree otherwise or applicable law requires it.

Refunds are made using the original payment method unless we expressly agree another method with you. Goodi Design will not charge a fee for issuing the refund. Your bank, credit-card provider or payment provider may require additional time to process the payment.

If you have not received an approved refund within 15 business days after our refund confirmation, please contact us at info@goodidesign.nl.
